Liberty Waste is proud to provide clean and reliable porta potty rentals to construction projects in and around the Nashville area. Our city has seen some impressive growth over the last decade. And we know that this growth wouldn’t have happened were it not for the great service provided by construction workers.
These folks spend their days making things better for the rest of us. New buildings mean new opportunities for housing and employment for the citizens of Nashville. But not only that, these projects make our lives better by fixing roads, improving utilities, and much more.
It’s our pleasure to work with these construction projects. We know a porta potty rental can make all the difference to a construction crew so we take our responsibilities seriously. This is why we’d like to look back at some of our favorite construction projects from the previous year that gave us the opportunity to provide them with essential facilities that would make their workdays more comfortable.

Skanska – 5th and Broadway Project
Broadway is the most famous section of downtown Nashville. The honky tonks, the lights, the venues — this is what comes to mind when people think of coming to visit Music City. And the corner of 5th and Broadway is right in the middle of all the traffic, attention, and fun.
Skanska is a Swedish construction company that has worked on massive developments all over the world. They are known for providing quality builds, safe environments, and attractive completed works.
The 5th and Broadway Project is an adventurous concept that aims to bring increased retail and entertainment options to the bustling section of the city. The area formerly hosted the Nashville Convention Center which was replaced by the Music City Center in 2013. The space will now house a mixed-use 235,000 square foot complex which will consist of residential units, parking, retail space, and more.
Liberty Waste is excited to have played a role in the transformation of this important area.
Turner – 1200 Broadway
Turner Construction Company is one of the largest construction companies in the United States. They have worked on many notable projects all over the country including the Madison Square Garden renovations, the Wilshire Grand Center in Los Angeles, and the Whitney Museum of Modern Art in New York City. They recently set their sights on Nashville to assist with the construction of a massive structure in the heart of downtown Nashville.
1200 Broadway is to be a mixed-use high rise building. Construction began on the 26-floor structure back in 2017. The crews have been working hard to finish the construction of the initial structure and recently celebrated topping out the building. Altogether, the building will provide 860,000 square feet of usable space for offices, housing, and more.
The space will include 313 luxury apartments, including penthouse apartments on the top floor. These units will have access to an outdoor pool, dog park, and much more once the structure is complete.
1222 Demonbreun Project
Liberty Waste was proud to provide porta potty rentals to the Turner construction crew during their work on the 1222 Demonbreun Project. This is yet another mixed-use structure in downtown Nashville. These buildings have become highly sought-after since the spike in tourism experienced by the area over the previous years.
Work on 1222 Demonbreun began with the demolition of the previous building in August of 2018. The Turner Construction Company has been the general contractor responsible for putting the structure together and Liberty Waste has been providing them with relief while they work.
The 20-story building will feature retail options, office space, a boutique hotel, and more. It will offer 330,000 square feet of space. The construction will have a focus on sustainability. In fact, it’s the only urban district in the south to be awarded LEED certification for a neighborhood development. This, along with a focus on walkability and access to public transportation further their sustainable practices.
Messer – Airport Parking Deck
Messer is a construction company that has been around since 1932. This type of long-lasting service means they know what they are doing. And this is why they were trusted to construct the Nashville International Airport’s Terminal Garage and Airport Administration Building.
The airport has been growing. This includes updating their parking options, building a new terminal, beginning construction on an on-site hotel, and more. Messer is doing their part to work on a couple of these important projects and Liberty Waste is there to ensure they remain comfortable and happy while they do so.
